Leland Estate

THE VINEYARD
Located between Lenswood and Lobethal on the North side of the original Neudorf settlement, 40km East of Adelaide. In November 1986, ...vines  were close planted on a North-Easterly slope, in a well drained red brown earth, 500m above sea level. A commitment has been made to grow the best grapes possible from this site with shoot positioning, organic fertilizers and under vine mulching.

ROB COOTES THE WINEMAKER
In 1987, after 14 years of working in the industry on several aspects of winemaking, he began to develop Leland Estate. His belief that the next major improvement in wine quality would come from better quality grapes, not chemical or microbiological manipulation of wine, has been more than justified.
