"Despite the hot, dry summer, the Adelaide Hills had moderate temperatures in the critical ripening period resulting in an excellent vintage. ...harvested earlier than usual, having developed intense passionfruit and gooseberry flavours with herbal tea-leaf undertones. There is a lengthy fresh citrus finish that lingers on the palate, typical of a cool climate Sauvignon Blanc."

Three generations of the Dean family helped to grow the grapes, vinified them using traditional methods and subsequently aged the wine in oak barrels. This is a medium-bodied wine with savoury cherry and plum flavours - an ideal accompaniment for Italian food."
