Cloudbreak

In 1998 the Greenleaf & Finlayson families established Cloudbreak vineyard which lies within the Lenswood sub-region. After a number of years of care and hard work this single vineyard has become the source of a range of wines known as Cloudbreak Wines."

Cloudbreak Pinot Gris - 2007
"...planted N-S on a north facing slope. This high altitude vineyard is minimally irrigated and cropped at less than 3 tons to the acre resulting in good natural acid and flavour. The fruit is hand picked, cold whole bunch pressed and fermented at cooler temperatures to protect the natural fruit aroma and intensity."

Cloudbreak Pinot Noir - 2006
"...is planted either side of a south ridge facing SW and SE. Burgundy clones 114, 115 and MV6. This high altitude vineyard is minimally irrigated and cropped at less than 2 tons to the acre. Hand picked, cold macerated and fermented in small French oak casks. Matured in French oak barriques."
