Winemaker takes on new venture to provide a tasting experience to remember.

Simon Greenleaf is the new owner of the Adelaide Hills Wine Cellar and is set to create an experience for the would-be Adelaide Hills wine taster that will leave a lasting impression.

Simon has been refining his craft for the last twenty years.  Starting at the iconic Petaluma Winery while completing a degree in Philosophy at Flinders University, Simon then went on to work in the Mornington Peninsula for two years where he was exposed to the beginnings of what would be great Pinot Noir country.  From there it was off to France, Chile and Spain.  A total of Six overseas vintages which saw Simon working for the likes of Santa Rita (Chile) and Bodegas Borsao (Spain) where he is known by some as "el Leyendo de Borja".  From there a few years in McLaren Vale.  In the mean time Simon also completed another degree in winemaking at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga.

Finally, Simon has settled back in the Adelaide Hills where his small French Domain Styled winery is turning out a veritable plethora of fascinating and delicious wines.
